Service to Country

We need people in office who are committed to their constituents and have proven their commitment to public service - Matt Lewis is that person.

As a third-generation service member, Matt proudly served in the Air Force. Like those before him, Matt eagerly answered the Nation’s call to service while providing for his growing family.

Matt’s time serving was marked with many recognitions and rewards. Matt earned top-honors while in training, he earned several awards for excellence in performance, he earned the distinguished Airman of the Quarter award, and Matt enjoyed accelerated promotion to Senior Airman before honorably returning to civilian life with his growing family.

Service to Community

Matt joined Rotary International to continue his service to others while teaching his children the importance of community and charity. Matt enjoys serving his community with other local leaders to make the Mahoning county and the State of Ohio, a better place to live for future generations.

Matt wants to continue his service to the 33rd District as the next State Senator for the citizens of the Valley and for Ohio. Matt knows that hard-work, dedication, and discipline are needed in our legislature. Matt truly lives the life of the people that he wants to represent and will be the voice in Columbus that the people currently lack. Our District needs representation with true-life experience, experience based on family values, solid work ethic and common sense.

Matt believes that most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
Matt believes Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
Matt believes Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
